I had a severe sinus infection last June.  When the doctor took my
blood pressure, it was about 10 points above my normal reading.  The
reading was significantly lower when my infection was cured.  I wondered
why this happened, but when I questioned it the doctor was not
overly concerned.  It wasn't life threatening and still considered
normal.  Still I still wonder why the infection elevated my blood
pressure.
